龍 (‘Dragon’) or “Lóng" is a kinetic ring comprised of the legendary five legged dragon, traditionally only worn by nobility during the Ming, Qing, and Yuan dynasty. The eternal dragon forms a circles representing the cyclical wheel of time. A faceted Ethiopian welo opal is prong set in a bezel suspended on an axis. The stone completes this circle and free to rotate, adding kinetic as well as visual interest to the piece.
